Mars at March 19th, 20:00 UT
      #3692027 - 03/19/10 04:26 PM Attachment (44 downloads)

Dear observers,

this night I had the chance dto see the Red Planet again. The Northern polar cap is slightly smaller, but not much. The Southern polar hood is largeish. I saw some detail, especially Utopia and m. Tyrrhenium.
The instrument was my 6 inch Mak at 300x.

Uwe,

Great job on the difficult side of Mars. I like your color choices.
The planet remains very bright.

Frank

very nice sketch of the more difficult side of mars. you should make a collage of all your mars drawings at the end of the season.

Uwe,

Nice job on your sketch--Mars is hard to see detail and getting harder. You have a nice body of work on Mars on your website.
