I was doing some testing last night and I couldn't get a dual feed to work so seeing if anyone has done this successfully.
I want to be able to feed an s-video and a RCA composite to the Dazzle and switch between the feeds in AMCAP. I don't open any Dazzle software at all.
I have the s-video feed coming directly from a Mintron (set up to do widefield) that has direct s-video output and rca video is coming from my Samsung SDC-435.
Dazzle/AMCAP can do either one fine if I only have one selected and don't switch in AMCAp, but when I try to switch from Composite Video to S-Video in the settings it gets bars and static and then I can't switch back until I unplug the Dazzle and plug it back in.
I am guessing it is a hardware limitation of the Dazzle, but I couldn't find any info online or in the Dazzle manual.
This is under Windows 7 with all drivers updated....
Thanks for any help.

In Amcap under Options/Video Crossbar I can switch both a USB frame grabber and a video input card between S-Video and Composite inputs.

Brian,
I was sitting here reading your posting and thinking to myself "I've done that ... and it works for me". So I grabbed my MC and plugged in the Dazzle unit and tried it out.
I'm using Amcap 9.01 (from the Celestron NexImage distribution I believe) I plugged both comp and s-video connections from the MC into the Dazzle unit (DVC100 rev 1.1) In Amcap I select Options, Video Crossbar and I can toggle the input from 2. Composite to 3. S-Video at will. I'm displaying the MC menu and it switches back and forth just fine. I also proved that I'm getting and switching between feeds from each output by unplugging each cable.
When I originally installed the Dazzle h/w I also installed some Pinacle s/w (Studio and DVD recorder). The Dazzle driver is from Pinacle (Dazzle DVC100 Video Device) v1.1.406.0 4/6/2004
I hope this helps.

Thanks AGAIN Mark I will make sure I check my Amcap version, maybe that is the culprit- but it is just nice to know that it DOES work, I just have to work at it some more.
On a side note- I think I have my spacing and adapters all worked to try the stacked focal reducers (f3.3 + x.5 on the c11)
