Skyglow from my observing site. new
      #3781516 - 05/02/10 02:18 PM

Here's a few images I took recently from our observatory site. It's about a 15 minute drive South-West of Bloomington at Sugar Grove.

Looking toward Bloomington to the North-East.

Looking South and West toward the nature center and observatory buildings. Shirley is glowing above.

Glow to the East??

I don't have a shot of the glow from Peoria but it is visible from this site.

William

Hey, that is better than our club's dark sky site. On a good night we can see to mag. 5.5 and see a faint Milky Way.
