Welcome to the Cloudy Nights Reader’s Gallery Submission Forum. Each month, we ask Cloudy Nights members to submit their best DSO photos in this thread.
For your photo entries, please provide a description that includes: Your First and Last Name; Date of photo (can include the time); Description (title) of the image; Relevant photo information (exposure length and equipment used).
This is important! If you don't supply ALL information, we won't be able to use your photograph!!!!
Please note: due to copyright issues, all photos MUST be original (If they aren't then you will be banned from this section of the forum!).
To facilitate the judging we respectfully ask that you not enter comments in the photo thread. You will find a commentary thread for the DSO photo entries. Thanks and good luck!

Scope: Celestron Ultima 2000, Meade 3.3 reducer, Hutech IDAS LPR Filter Camera: SBIG ST7E cooled to -20 C. Exposure: 8x300s, 1x1 binning, autoguided with the ST7E Processing Details: Images aquired with CCDSoft V5 Dark and Flat calibrated each frame, adaptive add combined, soft DDP processing in Images Plus. Debloomed, unsharp masked in Photoshop 5.0, noise smoothed out in Neat Image. Exported to JPG with IrfanView.

Nick King April 8th 2005 Harrow, UK M13 LRGB 100:30:30:30 in 10 minute unbinned subs. Shot with the SXV-H9 through a Vixen VC200L @ f6.4 and a set of Astronomik Type II LRGB filters. Guided with the SXV guide camera through the TV76. Guided and imaged with AA3, processed in Photoshop CS.

Nick King April 8th 2005 Harrow, UK M64 The Blackeye galaxy. 100 mins exposure in 10 min unbinned subs. Luminance filtered only - should have done the RGBs as well. Taken with an SXV-H9 through a Vixen VC200L @ f6.4 and guided with the SXV guide camera through a TV76.
