This is a theoretical view from a frozen moon towards the gas giant 47 Ursa Major C. It is somewhat less massive than Jupiter and orbits a bit closer to its star in a more eccentric orbit, but the classical concept of a gas giant with frozen moons probably still applies, so we Earth-based beings would not be totally unfamiliar with such a world.

Note that the full-size picture is more clear in detail and that this one was scaled down greatly to meet the guidelines of this website, but I think it is still a nice image.

Check out my post titled "Very good website for space art tutorials" farther down on this page. There, you'll find a link to a website that covers a lot of the basics. Of course, practice is required, and artistic talent develops with practice, but with the right tools, time, and motivation, almost anyone can make art such as this.
