Well I have added half a M3 Bausch and Lomb 6x30. It fits in my trouser pocket and has just enough magnification to be useful.

I took out my 10x42 EL's when I read (I think here) that excessive heat damaged some pairs if left there too much time. I try not to forget taking them with me if going to an interesting site in my car, just don't leave them there anymore...

I gave my 10x28 Noble away and have replaced it with a Bushnell Custom Elite 7x26.The Bushnell is usually the bin I like to have in the car for small trips.Occasionally the 8x42 Regals come along for the ride.

I always keep the Leica Geovids in my truck because I often use the range finder on the job.

Great post and my thoughts exactly, Simon. You have to remember that PJ has a Zeiss toothbrush...

Nikon 7X50 with individual focus that was bought from a guy in Japan. Great for Missouri River eagles, red tail hawks, football games and cross country meets.

My IOR romanian 7x40 Valdada bin, is my close partner, wherever I go, or drive.
It is a quite heavy fellow, so when walking, I carry him in a shoulder bag.
I really love this binocular so much!

I used the boot binoculars today for the first time this year.
I was expecting them to be damp and starting to show signs of fungal growth.
I was rather relieved to find them in dry and still perfectly aligned, despite the chip on the objective.
It does look like keeping them in the boot is fine as long as the car does not suffer damp. And a rough pair of binoculars is always better than none at all!

BSA TACMASTER 8x42. I picked these up for $80 at the gunshop. They are my first binoculars and a testbed to see what I want. For the money I like them, I am looking at another pair that are 5x as much but hard to believe they could be 5x better.

I usually bring my 10x42's & 15x70's when travelling. I never leave them in the back of the truck overnight. I also bring along a tripod for setup with the 15x70's.

Swift Triton, 7x35, circa 1965, J-B26 J-E45. I bought these used and they were pretty beat up, so sent these out to Cory Suddarth for collimation and cleaning.
Love the long grooved center focus knob, retubed by Cory, now it focuses smooth as butter.
Crisp sharp views, I usually stop by a pond in the morning while driving to work, grab the Swifts to view a variety of waterfowl.
