Hello Forum, there is much "crazy" nebulocity in cepheus, here one example.
Object: Barnard 150 Optic: CA300 (300/1140mm Newton) + Newtonmaster Correktor: Keller 3" Wynne Filter: Baader 50mm L-RGB Camera: SBIG STL11000M C2 at -20°C, selfguiding Exposure: LRGB: 104:32:32:32, subexposures 8min, arks and flats Location: Germany, Kreben Date: 11.10.2010 Processing: calibration, registration and combination with Fitswork4

This shows how much of the interstellar dust is being illuminated behind the stars.

Hi Thomas,
iīm just wondering i couldnīt find your picture in one of the german speaking forums!?
I like your picture very much, iīm a big fan of dark nebulas anyway. If you would get rid of the gradient (greenish looking in the left upper corner) it would be A+. I use Gradient X Terminator to do so. But there are other (cheaper) ways too.

@all Hello Forum, thanks for all the great comments. There are so many other targets in Cepheus still waiting to be imaged.

there is only a question of time.
The gradient in the upper left corner may due light pollution, the gradient in the bottom left corner comes from my flatfielding. I think the rotating shutter of my camera is not precise.

Very nicely done! Yes, dark nebulae pose a different challenge than "standard" nebulae.
