Well, obviously, the Seller saw that Park's ad for a $2000 60mm refractor and said to himself - "Hey! - I can beat that. Mine even comes with a $200 Microscope Option!"

Might need a little cleaning, cough... cough.
http://austin.craigslist.org/clt/2240381383.html
and I can't believe I made the guy an offer, I'm thinking of cleaning it up and donating it to my daughters school
So I made the seller an offer and he accepted. So the only thing missing is the eyepieces and a nut on the finder bracket. I'm going to clean it up, scrape together some eye pieces and give it to the school.

They are called DISCUS , google them. Most people think salt water has the prettiest fish but i think Discus are on par if not prettier . Just like saltwater tanks Discus Discus tanks are difficult to keep and require lots of time and care to keep the fish happy. There is nothing more rewarding than having a pair mate and seeing the fry feed off the parents. I gave my fish away to my local breeder(he is a super clean freak, not a puppy mill) because i knew they wouldn't survive moving from my first house to my new house. It killed me but it was the right thing to do, the breeder was ecstatic because he was getting six healthy Discus worth over a thousand dollars. After the kids go off to college i plan on starting a new tank with live plants and Discus again. If you want to be sucessful with these fish it takes time and money so don't buy one of these from your local aquarium and expect breeding 6" Discus. I was collecting and filtering rainwater for the longest time, until i bought a reverse osmosis water system. Discus need time, love, and care. TLC

Ah, the other hobby the requires a lot of glass that needs to be kept clean. (And an expensive one where you collect multiple units of different sizes that all need their own accessories.) Brian
