Please modify your list to show the source - paraphrased.
George Carlin as Al Sleet, the "hippie-dippie weatherman"

"Tonight's forecast: Dark. Continued dark throughout most of the evening, with some widely scattered light towards morning."

"I have amassed an amazingly large eyepiece collection, and have never once organized it by focal length, apparent field of view or brand. Even Ken Hubal lists me as his emergency contact. I won the 1998 world series of poker…using Messier cards. If we each had a 13mm Ethos, mine would be better than yours. If we traded, mine would still be better than yours. I once auctioned a 10mm Sirius Plossl on Astromart and sold it for $225."

Okay, how about:
I am the least interesting astronomer in the Universe. My eyepiece collection consists of one Ramsden. Someday I’ll get a telescope to go with it. No one ever asks me for my opinion or recommendation. The only planets I’ve ever looked at are hanging from my ceiling. I am always ignored at star parties, even when I’m not there. Last time I saw a Messier object my mother made me clean it up.

Ok, I'm not there but that is just an awesome list, something to aspire to. It has to be made an annual event. One day I will make it.
