hello folks, this is my first post here, I have a newbie question, sorry if it has been asked or anyone may point me to the right thread explaining this?
I have TheSky6 installed and TheSkyX Pro upgrade software, and I have a Sky Watcher EQ6 Pro mount here, can I do TPoint with this mount? but I can't find this mount type and brand from the telescope list..... how can I do that?
the other question is, we have a used Paramount ME here and wish to set it up for imaging. I found the focuser port on the mount can control a pulse focuser, does it means that it can't control Starlight instrument Feather Touch focuser? we are using the vintage focuser hub and hand control from Starlight instrument.
thanks in advance for any help on this.

With your Paramount should have come a CCDsoft license. If it didn't, then contact Software Bisque to obtain one for a nominal cost.
CCDsoft can control the following focusers:
Finger Lakes Focuser Focus API Optec TCF-S RCOS Focuser RoboFocus SBIG Motor Focus SmartFocus The Sky's Focuser
I suspect that "Focus API" means any ASCOM focuser?
In any case, that seems like a much bigger list than what The Sky all by itself can control.
CCDsoft also has @Focus and @Focus2 for automated focusing.

Welcome to CN wlibby.
You can use T-Point with this mount.
If you have installed the ASCOM drivers you can select the Atlas EQ6. If you haven't installed the ASCOM telescope drivers you'll have to select the Celestron NexStar drivers.
The focuser port on the Paramount ME is designed to control a DC motor driven focuser using DC pulses not a stepper driven focuser. It is not designed to control your Starlight focuser.
