Orion Lightweight EQ-1

I have one of these mounts and I am thinking of picking up either an 80mm or 90mm scope to put on it. The problem I have is that there is no way to mount the scope on the mount head. The scopes I am looking at are on EBay and have no rings or such. They are Meade scopes and labeled as "finder scopes". Can someone point me in the correct direction on how to mount one of them??

Option #1 is to purchase rings and attach them to the mount like so..

Your second option would be to alter the OTA and put studs on it to match the mounting holes on the mount. This method runs a high probability of missing your balance point and precludes you from balancing the OTA in the future. I'd recommend the rings..
