First Sun from Sweden new
      #4396497 - 02/19/11 08:02 AM Attachment (43 downloads)

Hi all!
Glad to see all the activity in the forum, itīs been a while since Iīve been here!
Here comes my first shot of the season, the sun is climbing higher each day but the sun is still low in the sky. Just so I could photograph it from the obs.
Same equipment as usual, the DSLR, Orion 100ED and SM60.

Best regards
P-M

Good to have you back P-M and very nice comeback image!

I must agree with Stephen about the profile pic though: not so nice to see that one back A bit scary, I'd say!

Are you using the DSLR with a Barlow or Powermate? And is this a single shot or the result of stacking multiple captures as done with a webcam?
