Celestron LCM & TV Ranger new
      #4421284 - 03/02/11 11:38 AM

Anyone have one of these mounts?
Would it work with a TV Ranger?
I now use a Meade DS mount and I'm thinking that the Celestron product might be better.

I had a Meade DS mount - it quit after a few hours of operation. It carried my Lunt 60mm solar scope easily. I just traded the DS mount for a LCM mount which I haven't received yet. The other fellow said the LCM was more robust and reliable in his experience and with it's 5 lb rated capacity should carry the Ranger easily. In summary, go for the Celestron.
