Sun in H-Alpha (PST, march 3)

First light for my PST, and what a show! A bright prominence on the limb that changed shape every few minutes. Also several active regions with filaments were easily visible. Better than going to the movies. The PST is my favourite scope from now on.

Roel,

Congratulations on your excellent Hydrogen-alpha (H-alpha) observations of the Sun using your new Coronado PST. It is exciting to observe the Sun using the PST which is an excellent instrument for this purpose. Thank you for sharing them with us all. I look forward to your future observations.
