Yes. Under the Configuration Menu/Locale Menu, where you set your location's Lat./Long., there is a box labeled hours. This is where you enter the number of hours between your timezone and UTC. In New England, for EST, it's -5 hours, and for EDT, it'll be -4 hours.

The StarBook doesn't automatically adjust for DST. Always enter Standard Time and be sure to convert when using the polar scope. You can offset the time as stated in the previous post but will you always remember which way it is set?
