I am seriously considering a Uti8 because of it's airline portability. However, I am thinking that I should get some comments from the Mounts forum regarding how well or how poorly the Uti mount performs.
It is not like I am expecting it to compete with some 50 lb. GEM, but does it perform well or adequately considering it's extreme portability. Is it a good stable mount that allows for stable push to performance that can standup under a bit of wind? How easy or difficult is it to track objects with the Uti8. I admit that I am smitten by this scope, so if I need to know things that will make me a bit less excited, now would be a good time to tell me.
