Alt-Az balancing an Orion 127 Mak
      #4463792 - 03/21/11 10:35 AM

I had balance pretty well sorted out until I started adding heavier accessories, Baader diagonal, 50mm finder, and a heavier eyepiece.

I have the Orion Apex 127 Mak and the Desert Sky DSV-1 mount.

I understand that I have to now balance in two axis for best performance (and any viewing near zenith).

My question is, what are others using, how well does it work, what should I not try?

Your experience is appreciated.
