I'm looking for a relatively inexpensive mount that will handle the dovetail plates that I use to mount my SV 105 refractor and Celestron 8" SCT on my CGEM. No electronics, no computers. I want something to set up quick, when all I want to do is look at the sights. Any suggestions? Maybe there is a lighter weight head I can put on my CGEM tripod?

Hello, If you need to mount whatever it is you end up with on your CGEM tripod, then its important to know what is the size of your CGEM's central tripod locking bolt is, really.
Also, do you need to have both OTAs mounted on your new set up simultaneously?
