I am dropping off my first roll of film with astrophotos. Is there anything special I should tell them when I drop it off to get developed? So they dont mess it up....
Thank in advance,

You might want to put in the special instructions box on the envelope that they are astrophotos and will be dark.
Suk might have more for you.
I don't think I would want them processed any differently than a normal roll of photos. You want to see exactly what your camera settings produced so you can make adjustments or corrections if neccesary for future shoots.
You did record all of your settings of each exposure right?

AJ:
If you didn't expose a couple of frames "normally" at the beginning or end of the roll, then the lab might not know where the frame edges are, so you should ask them to leave the film uncut. Once you get them back, you can easily cut them with scissors and mount them to Pakon plastic mounts (comes with a little mounting jig, the only other thing you need is tweezers.
Schultze had a really good point - each roll is an experiment, you need to record exposure settings, tracking info, etc. so that you can learn from each roll.
It doesn't hurt to tell the lab that they're astrophotos so that they don't think the whole roll is a loss and mishandle it.
Congrats!

Schultze and Suk,
Thanks... That is what I needed to know. Luckily I had some daytime shots at the beginnig and the end has some shots of downtown St. Augustine in the dark..... So hopefully they can get an idea of the spacing?
I logged my shots from the Pentax but not with the Canon. I'll start logging them all when my Olympus arrives. The above cameras seem to be a bit of a pain to use in one way or another. I'm hoping the Olympus simplifies things some.
Thanks!

You know, I counted 13 separate controls including buttons, switches, and levers on the A1 the other day.
