Anyone use the Binoscope tall tripod with AP900?

Picked up an AP900 on 52" ATS pier, which is great for stability and viewing with my longest refractors, but I'm looking for something down closer to the 40" range for my shorter and smaller scopes.
The tall tripod looks interesting, but would like to hear from people who've used it with an AP900:
How stable is the combo?
What does the mount to tripod interface look like? (The website has pictures both where the Malco table looks integrated into the top, while others show some kind of adapter between an AP pier adapter and what looks like the Losmandy top for the tripod.)
