I upgraded my Vixen GP-mount with the Skywatcher Synscan GOTO kit. As you can see in the picture, the plastic black cover over the RA-motor doesn't fit. I seem to have two options:
1. Hack away at the black plastic to make it fit somewhat better. Should work OK. 2. Mount the cable connections on the old greenhsih plastic cover for the old MT-1-motor. I don't really know if the cables would fit inside, but it might be fine, since the Skywatcher motor is smaller.
So, if someone has already done this, I would appreciate any pointers.
Also, I have the HAL-110 has flat legs. Skywatcher supplies a plastic mount for the electronics box that snaps to round legs. And the mount for the control handle is a similar problem witch mounts on the Skywatcher mounts but not on the HAL-110. Any ideas here?

Well, that sounds like the best place to start, I suppose. If I break that plastic thing, I can always try plan b and use the original plastic cover.
Anyone with ideas about mounting the driver box and hand set?

Matti, Can you reverse the knob & get better clearance? Adjust the knob orientation for better clearance? StarT

You mean the knob at the top of the image? That is actually not the problem, even though it might look like that in the photo. The knob moves freely. The problem is that the black enclosure is smaller than the diameter of the mount. It would need to be cut away on the inside to fit and even then, I suspect it might not be a perfect fit.

M, OK I thought the problem was that the clutch knob couldn't be tightened up. I would suggest a dremel tool with the small sanding drum. That way you're not really hacking away more like grinding. It'll take longer but be a tighter fit & look better. My $0.125" worth

I installed the connectors into the Vixen cover. Looks factory made. Lynn
