Converting CG5 computerized back to CG5 RA motor?

You may have read my other threads abought this. I have a CG5 that is computerised. It needs a lot of parts (money) to get it working.
Under all that plastic there are slow motion controls. I'm wondering if it isn't really the plain CG5 with added parts? If it is I should be able to convert it back to the old style CG5, add a RA motor, sell the hand control, and end up with a decent mount.
I do not need the "goto" function. I have a 8SE for that. I bought this mount to dable into AP from Ebay. ( as they say nowadays "my bad")
