Yes, but thats about 45-49lbs fully dressed so no extras One way to drop some weight is position the scope better on the saddle to eliminate the need for the 10 pound ring weight in the back. Thats a huge savings. If you plan to do that you need to use a double ring finder that mounts on the focuser, not the 11x70 that attaches to the tube ring weight. Hope this helps.. Joe
