Greetings all!
Here are two drawings of Saturn I made on the 19-20 April 2011. I used the University of Leicester's 20" Planewave Dall-Kirkham telescope and although seeing was never any better than average, i was still able to observe some nice details. By the time of drawing 2, i suspected spokes in the B-Ring.
Best wishes, -Paul.

Hi Paul,
Couldn't find a smaller scope?!
Fantastic detail for only 'average' seeing. I especially like the shadow extensions on the disk's edge of the rings. Now that takes some observing skill to notice and reproduce. Good stuff!
I am also impressed at the level of detail in the ring structure. Beautiful.

Very impressive sketches! I've never been able to even come close to that much detail in my 10" reflector! Simply astounding

Paul,
Outstanding observations of Saturn using a large (quality) aperture instrument. The detail noted over the globe and rings is very impressive. With that aperture (seeing permitting) the spokes could easily have been visible. Thank you for sharing them with us all.
