Lube Question
      #45393 - 01/25/04 04:14 PM

I have been using a pair of orion 15x80's. Here is the problem. When it gets down around -5 F or colder the focus ring gets so tight you can't move it without moving the binos around (I'm using a paragon mount). One night it was -15 F and I could not move the focus ring at all. Bring them inside and the problem goes away...

What should I use for oil? Thoughts?

That happens with lots of different binoculars. I would attempt to change anything.
