SVP power supply question
      #4543215 - 04/25/11 01:45 PM

I'm looking for an AC adapter for my Sky View Pro mount, the manual says "The SkyView Pro GoTo system should be powered by an 11V to 15V DC power supply (tip positive) capable of producing continuous current of a minimum 2 amps." However the manual is negligent on mentioning the diameter of the plug.

So does anyone with the SVP or equivalent mount happen to know the tip diameter and/or have any recommendations for a power supply. I'm looking to run the mount from and extension cord in my backyard.

I have to add with all the clouds, smoke, rain and wind in central Texas I have to find something astro related to do.

I had read that as only for powering up the controller separate of the motor control box, so I didn't even pay attention to the tip size. Thanks much.
