Alternative to William Optics Eazy Touch mount new
      #4546143 - 04/26/11 06:29 PM

I had decided to go to an alt/az mount and had settled on the William Optics Eazy Touch mount. When I tried to find one to order, I found out they had been discontinued. Does anyone know why they decided to stop producing these? Also, does anyone have suggestions for an alternative mount?

I'd suggest you look at the Stellarvue MG2. It's set up for two scopes, has slo-mo controls, and IMO is much smoother and has greater load capacity. I had an EZT a number of years ago, and while it's a nice mount, the MG2 is far superior. Just my opinion here!

Thanks for the information Phil. I just ordered the MG2 from Stellarvue.
