I am in the usual which to go for predicament most of us find ourselves in when buying new binoculars Read numerous reviews on Fujinon 16x70 and Pentax 20x80 obviously there is quite a difference in price and I would welcome any feedback as to whether it is worth paying the extra for the Fujinons or are the Pentax a good buy .

Jeff,
Are you sure about the pentax, correctly a 20x80. I wasn't aware they made a 20x80. They do make a fine 20x60. the only problem as I see it is the 20x60 has only a 2.2° Tfov. The Fujinon has a 4° Tfov. So the Fujinon shows more than 3x as much area of the sky.
Both are very good binoculars.

Thanks for your reply Edz, I read so many binocular reviews and articles over the weekend that I must have suffered a binocular blackout when printing Pentax 20x80 as you rightly pointed out there is no 20x80 only 20x60 Think I will go for the Fujinons anyway.
