I made a few sketches of galaxies in the Virgo cluster on May 9.
I started by observing NGC 4567/8, a very close pair of spiral galaxies.

And M58, a spiral that showed just a hint of an arc.

I then moved the scope over to the area around M59 and M60. I sketched the small and bright galaxy NGC 4638. I either couldn't see or couldn't resolve NGC 4637, which is basically touching this galaxy.

Finally, I concluded my observation of the Virgo cluster with a sketch of M60. This elliptical galaxy has an active spiral galaxy called NGC 4647 embedded in its glow. The sketch is missing stars because the galaxy went behind a tree before I could finish the sketch.

My, you've been busy!
Lovely work there. Nicely rendered to faithfully reproduce the "at the eyepiece" experience.

Tenth,
Excellent job on your sketches. They are indeed very eyepiece realistic.
