I still don't have a shutter mounted. Now that I have a filter slide, I'll try to merge that with the shutter on the Quantix.
The stand is a CG-4. It isn't balanced yet as I'll need another counter weight, but it seems to track quite well.

I haven't weighted it. I know the 10 pound counterweight is not sufficient to get it balanced, so the weight is likely pushing the limit of the mount.

Won’t be able to afford a filter wheel for a while so I tried to merge the Ha with some RGB from the Canon 1000D. Still need to get another 2hours worth of RGB data and try the Starizona Ha method but here is a go. 2 hours of Ha from the Quantix as luminescence, 2hours of DSLR RGB. Get some amp glow in the bottom right and had to patch some stacking and alignment errors.

Exercising the Quantix on the Veil Nebula. I guess its time to start posting on CCD forum for the Ha and The DSLR forum for the hybrid mix. Will be sending the Hybrids here also until I see more color shots start coming up on this forum. Just cuz you don’t have filters and a wheel, don’t let that stop you!

Still don't have a filter wheel for the CCD so I am backing up the Ha from the CCD with the Canon 1000D RGB as best I can. Its weird messing with hybrid data as it has no real home. The Canon can't match the FOV on the EDQ but I figure the the data from the canon is doing a good job of coloring things though. About an hour of data from each camera so I had to push the saturation. Shot with the 65EDQ, stacked in DSS, color data and Ha hand aligned in PS3.
