The Sun goes down and the Clouds roll in.
      #47777 - 01/30/04 06:31 PM

Well, the Sun was bright all day long but now that it has gone down the clouds have moved in.
We had such a beautiful day and now I can't even see the moon. Oh well, that's life in amateur astronomy.

Well, it is the weekend! I set out my scope and had a 15 minute view of Saturn and the moon before the clouds visited me too. I suppose it's not quantity, but quality

You think you have problems? Here in Tucson the skies are clear and the moon is up there, bright and shining, a perfect object for my small scope. But this week I threw my back out, so using an old refractor just isn't going to happen. All I can do is stand out there and sigh a lot.

Ouch - been there had the back pain ! Using a scope can put you in some odd positions so you have my sympathy !

Sorry to hear that Tom. I woke up with a glitch in my back this morning but it loosened up throughout the day. Take care and I hope you feel better soon.

Appreciate the sympathy. The skies, after being cloudy today, have cleared. I think I'll just go out and gaze upward. You do what you can.
