I'll third that! Really a beautiful piece of work, and it sounds like the lens is a match for it. Having it on wheels must make it easy to get started observing.
Enjoy it!

A beautiful scope. You're a craftsman.
Kudos, also, to CN for the resumption of publishing gear reviews!

Beautiful work building that scope and its mounting.
One question though. What did you use as an arm that is the pivot point for the right ascension?

I just noticed this was published. Thank you CN for publishing the review. And thank you for all of the kind comments.
As a planet hunter this scope has truly excelled. And is a super all around performer.
The RA axis, actually both axis are made from a trailer axil cut sown to size. both axis are held in position using "pinch blocks". I have an step be step on the build in the ATM forum. This method passed the proof of concept test with flying colors.

I recently ordered a custom RA gear and clutch assembly from gototelescopes.com. Lenord did a fine job building this to specs. I will update the build article soon to show this modification.
Thanks again CNers.
