Yes, moonglow hosts images of other camera's. Part of your cost for the software is a subscription to allow uploads to their FTP.
If you click the link in my signature "color all sky cam" its a link to the ASC website where I am using the orion all sky cam.

Awesome!
Finally - someone else with an Orion ASC! I've got my set up going in the other thread. Hope you don't mind if I ask you questions from time to time about this camera. For example, do you find that the MoonGlow software is better than the included Orion AVI software?

Sure, no problem. Yes I do think it is better.
I had to mod my Orion ASC and put two 2" dew strips inside of it with a separate DC power connection coming out the side.
That little heat bar they use inside is no match for the dew monster here in Los Angeles.
PS. Orion's support SUX!

Thanks Dave!
Yes, I've been thinking about the dew strips as well. I doubt that tiny heater will have much luck coping with below zero temps either!
And speaking of tech support, I was thinking about calling Orion with a couple questions, but you have convinced me not to waste my time. While I had the camera open for testing the other day, I noticed the little fan wasn't running. I'm assuming it's controlled by one of those temperature switches on the PC board? Is this correct?
Keep watching my other thread! I've got some more installation photos on the way!

Caught another awesome earth-grazer last night! Unfortunately, the left side 'glow' is from bird *BLEEP* on the camera dome!

Great fireball here on Wednesday- wish I would have seen this live. Someone else in my club mentioned it and sure enough, I caught it. This one even made the national news.

Rus and John - those are both really nice ones! I caught a small streaker last night but unfortunately my sentinel machine did windows updates the other night and restarted. The downside is that the wsentinel app looses the video brightness and contrast settings on a system restart.
Here is the video - http://skysentinel.nmsu.edu/allsky/viewer/275444

How about St Elmo's Fire?
This was captured about 30 minutes after a thunderstorm passed through, then the rain changed to snow. Here's a JPEG image...
..and here's a link to the video...
St Elmo's Fire?
This is the 2nd time that I've seen this during or after a thunderstorm.
Here's my camera setup...
Best regards, John

That is crazy!! What was the date and time, I want to see your video?
Just from a little reading, don't the SEF have to have a generating point? Looks like maybe sprites to me.
May I send this video to our local weatherman to see if he knows?

I really like All skie cameras,
But with them being on very tall poles do yo have any worry about lightning strikes and so do you ground them and do you use any type of Surge procetors??

It was cloudy at the time. (The things that look like stars are (I guess) dead pixels?) It began snowing a short time later.
Both times that I have seen this with the all-sky camera, was in the proximity of a thunderstorm.

Sure. It was cloudy at the time, so I'm not so sure you can see sprites when its cloudy/overcast.

Not yet, but before the monsoon season starts, I surely will do both.

dew buildup and evaporation on the dome is what it looks likes to me.. That's a lot of hot pixels for a live shot.
