Very nicely written, thorough review. Much appreciate your taking the time to do it. Are there other similar, low-end, long eye relief eyepieces that one should consider? Do any of the other Astro-tech eyepieces (Titan, Paradigm, etc.) have 20mm e.r.? I have the 6mm LER and find that it is very sharp, has a flat field of view, objects stay in focus from edge to edge, images are bright and color free. I have been using it a lot for planetary observing and it does an excellent job, as well as a few double stars. What is really great is that I picked this one up from Astronomics on sale for $39.99 + S&H. There just isn't a better eyepiece at triple the price.
