I have been attempting to find Galaxy collision software and was curious if there were any out there to simuate orbital mechanics for planetary bodies? Or even something to simulate the gravitational enviroments of a Solar System.

Linux distro's usually have one for a screen saver.
Arizona State University has/had some folks doing research on that and posted some animantions on their home pages/department pages.
You get some wild interaction when you have two systems collide with each other. Some stars are sling shot out at tremenous velocities. In fact, there is a star moving towards us right now that did not originate in our galaxy and will whip quite close by.
I have not looked for nor seen code though.
I talked via email with one prof. at ASU who had gone back to Germany who was active in this field. There is a lot of work being done in Germany on this so if you can read german you're in luck! I forget his name, but he had some very nice animations with different parameters.
