One of my observing buddies, Gabe Dickens, a recently retired fireman with the Gulfport, MS. Fire Department. This image shows Gabe (who is a big guy, about 6"2") beta testing a prototype Meade 10" ED refractor. Meade just simply upscaled everything on their ED line of refractors from the early 90's.

It is the original clamshell of Pentax 125sdp and I think its part number is BH-140.
