First post here. New to Cloudy Nights, but not new to astronomy. I have been a long time follower of CN but just registered yesterday. I thought I would post this photo of my Televue 76. I just got a Universal Astronomics Dwarfstar Mount which has breathed new life into this little gem of a refractor. Perfect kit for grab-n-go which is most of my observing.

My Meade Model 300 80mm f/15.
Though it didn't cost very much, just a few minutes out with it this evening showed me that it has very fine optics and would make a wonderful portable instrument for a person who likes to sit and study the Moon, bright planets and double stars.

Thanks Pete - the scope is definitely a keeper and the older I get the more I appreciate a mount like the DM-4 for its absolute ease of use and smoothness.
