She is a dear friend much my junior. A surrogate daughter if you will. And a rascal. she throws the scope out of focus on stars and proudly declares "I made it bigger for you" just to annoy me.

As a newbie, I never dreamed so many people would have some of these awesome setups! You people are absolutely blowing my mind with these rigs!!! I'm sitting here paging through, making sure I don't miss a single picture. Keep 'em coming!! Each one is nothing short of gorgeous!!

My TMB loves the new Losmandy Style dovetail. Makes the setup more rigid and it looks great!

There is one thing that is much more important than gear.
And that is your passion for the night sky.
Newbie, or seasoned veteran, Tasco or Astrophysics, it does not matter. We all share the same passion.
Get out under a clear dark sky and enjoy.

Clicking through all of these great pics -- I am now desperate for some clear skies...but my clear sky chart only speaks spanish -- it is always telling me "Manana..."
