Berry & Mackay (Aberdeen) 3" F15 brass refractor currently and temporarily resting on a Thomas Gaunt Equatorial Mount c1877, while the actual mount is under restoration:

I have been lurking for a while and thought this would be a nice way to introduce myself. I use my refactors mainly for H-Alpha viewing and grab and go. I also own a 12.5" and 8" Portaball for deep sky observing sessions.

^^^^ Just noticed my $8.00 Plano fishing tackle box on the tripod. That's where my EP's, caps, filters, etc. are house at the moment.

Low budget.... but it works.

I used to use those fishing cased, but the inside always dewed up.

I attached round felt pads from the dollar store to all the compartments to keep the ep's from rattling in the case.
