Nice set up!!! I'm waiting on tube rings and then my grab & go will be together, a similar arrangement. Btw, I've used the plastic compartment boxes too - worked well for me.

I have been lurking for a while and thought this would be a nice way to introduce myself. I use my refactors mainly for H-Alpha viewing and grab and go. I also own a 12.5" and 8" Portaball for deep sky observing sessions.
AP Traveler (last run) on a Losmandy GM-8
Welcome. Very nice scope!

Looks nice, Steve. I wish my later model TMB130 had the dew shield clamp screw like I see yours has. I wonder why TMB didn't keep that feature?

Here is another photo of my Sky Watcher 6 inch F/5. Also you can see the rather bright sign that ruins my night vision.

Thanks Rich. I had no idea they had changed the design of the dew shield. Mine is serial number 0006 from the first run.

Here's a picture of my recently restored Polarex 132C/Unitron 142. Classic 3" f/16 refractor giving incredible views of planets and double stars. Guidescope is not Polarex original but everything else is.
Cheers

Such great, beautiful refractors in this thread!!! I feel ashamed posting mine It looks like a toy compared to everyone else. But here is my newly set up to grab-n-go William Optics ZenithStar 80 ED II. (Sorry i had to edit the picture somewhat to bring out its nice blue. Maybe another day I'll post another picture if it outside in the sunlight.)

You're right, Alex. There are a lot of awesome looking scopes in this thread, but don't sell yourself short. Yours is quite nice looking also. I like it!!

Wow what mount do you have yours on that's actually using the bracket the telescope came with???
I'm having a little trouble balancing mine with the 2" diagonal and a large eyepiece like an Explore Scientific :-/

That's a gorgeous WO! Looks so sexy!
By the way, I just purchased some rings for my 80mm WO above for $30. Check www.agenaastro.com I haven't checked for a dovetail but I'm sure they have one as well for a great price.
