My observation of evening planets made with a 4" Newton, at 125x & Baader M&S filter. Venus: bright limb,the polar cusps were white&bright and receded.

Jupiter: NEB thiner and greyish, SEB broader and brown-redish

Mars: NPC-small & white, M. Acidalium, Margaritifer Sinus, Sinus Sabeus dark-grey. Chryse region brighter.

Very nice

Mars must have been very low down at your observation time, nice observation of the Maria and polar cap.

Venus and Jupiter look great too, showing the ever shrinking NEB, and the bright limb of Venus.
