Thanks for the nice review Joe. There has been a lot of buzz here on CN about the Orion EON 120ED, but very little comment about this scope.

I think the EON is cuter. I see definite color around bright white stars with mine. However I paid about $1200 and for that price I am incredibly happy with it and would recommend it. Love the case too, it fits perfectly in my small car trunk.
Never tried the eyepieces that came with it though.

Thanks Joe. I just got the scope from Amazon, the last one they had, and amazingly for about $1,300. It is a delight to use and has everything one needs to drop it on a mount and start looking. Even though my back yard is about 60% tree obstructed, I was able to see some great views of the little fuzzies and a truly impressive, detailed view of M67.

It's fixed, just like the SW100ED f/9 and 80mm ED Pro models.
