Hi Guys
after a long flight I came back this morning to germany and did already a full day job :-), now reading here a bit and then its time for some hours sleep. The focuser on the pictures is not racked out much , but a 2" extension was addet to rich focuse on bright lights inside the big hall. To bad there was no good clear sky for a starparty to show its potential. Nobody took the chance to buy it, so its now on the way back to Germany and I will have it for showing at 24 november at our day of open house for european guys to look on it and through it.

Nice scope, Markus, good job on that!
I look forward to compare that with my APM/LZOS triplet 6" f/8 when the opportunity arises

Hi Markus....
The 1st sample you shipped out last week, already reached my country. Now is waiting for custom clearance.... I am very sure now it will be ready for this coming weekend 1st light planned activity...provided the weather is fine, as is raining season at this moment in our region....
I have also announced it in our local astronomy forum....

Had a chance to test it on Jupiter yet James?
For the 1st time a few nights ago I managed to see good details within the South belt of Jupiter using my friend Jon H's 8" LX90 ACF (prior to this it was either fogged over - before we got the dew heater! - or the GRS was on the opposite side of the disc) although admittedly I only tried looking properly at Jupiter the last couple of times I've been up to his house. Also his SCT is not collimated all that well, at 250x I can see the 3 or 4 diffraction rings going very noticeably to one side at focus!
I wonder how much more detail I would see with this 6" F8 from Markus? Would Jupiter's disc be nice and purple-free at 250x ?
Cheers,
Alistair G.

Yes... I have tested this new 152 APM ED APO, a few times.... And is reported both in the CN refractor and outreach sections.
And for Jupiter, I have seen it twice with this new scope... 1st time , at home, through my window, and the jupiter's GRS is very well defined. The max magnification I used at the first light at home is 250X. The 2nd time, is its first outdoor 1st light at our local library side walk, which it also delivers high contrast and showing numerous cloud bands, but unfortunately GSR is not visible at that time
Last weekend suppose to do a scope to scope comparison with my astronomy friend's 152 APM triplet APO, on Jupiter, but unfortunately the weather is not promising... And we are planning for this coming weekend scope testing again....
I will keep everyone in CN, updated on the status, after this weekend till Christmas time, as I should have many days to test this scope.....
Regards
James Ling

A quick note to the discussion on the refractor forum regards correction of our chinese and LZOS 152 doublet ED. both are not designed to reduce purple and increase red spotts. Both are correct designed, optimized for visual observations, tthe classic tradional metthod !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Simply check out the spots and LA curves on our webside and also Strehl curve
Thanks for your attention
