Sorry, ya, if you are looking for an "Original White Balance" or "Colour Correcting" filter to make the 60Da act like a regular 60D and do not want the clip-in form that zAmbonii already provided a link to then the X-Nite CC1 filters are what you are looking for.

Well no that I have an idea for lens, I'm trying to figure out which filter cells to buy that will work with as broad of a range of equipment as possible.

So I want these filters to be able to work with my 60Da mounted on a canon T cell, as well as on the actually lenses, and be able to use them on a monochrome CCD filter wheel down the line.

I think what I need for this is the 48mm filters. This will work with 48mm sized filter wheels for CCD camera down the line, and I can get a 52-48mm step down ring for the front of the wide field lenses I will be using.

Now what I'm not sure about is the T-adapter when I mount my camera to my refractor.

It has the cannon adapter on one end, then a two inch extension tube, then the two inch adapter that goes into my scope on the other end.

Im not exactly sure where a 48mm filter could be mounted here but there are threads everywhere. It seems like the inside on the canon side is 48mm wide with threads, so would a 48mm filter work there?

That would be awesome if I could get one filter to work with all three setups.

Otherwise my other choice is to just get a EOS clip in filters, then get 48mm filters when I get a CCD...

My 0.002 cent

I own a Canon EFS 50mm F/1.4. Nice wide open shutter. Fits the whole orion constellation in it's FOV. Tested and provides crystal clear images in a reasonable price.

Are we sure that the 60Da needs an "original white balance" type filter? Maybe the 60Da is already set up for terrestrial photography with the modified filter it has. Has anyone taken an astrophoto with a 60Da yet?
