This was another great article on the ETX and I totally concur with it! I am so happy I purchased this amazingly powerful scope! Nice job George!

George:

Nice read. I have one of these in storage. It was my father's and he never could figure it out, so he gave it to me. Your report has me interested in hooking it up and trying it out.

Also, you have the best surname on CN.

Regards,

Jim

Green lasers are measured in milliwatts (mW)not megawatts (MW). 200 MW is enormous power and is roughly 200 million times more powerful than a milliwatt. I, too, enjoy a powerful laser. It can be seen easily in large group functions. Too bad they are illegal. China will sell them along with anything else where there is a demand!

George:

I greatly enjoyed reading your article about the beloved ETX-125. Mine is still giving me great service although it is now mounted on a Celestron SE 6/8 mount. I particularly enjoyed your final paragraph where you make the argument that this would be the one scope that might "do it all" for an amateur astronomer. This is my view also; the ETX-125 is very versatile in spite of its "longish" 1900 mm focal length. Your humor greatly enhanced the review and I thank you for posting it.
