Mine is an older unit and the casing of one bearing has split so I've decided to renew all 4 now. I would almost bet Moonlite will replace them for you for nothing. I was looking at mine, and I see the draw tube has pitted some where the bearings ride and I can feel it when I move the coarse adjust knob. Hmm...
