Replacement bearings for a Moonlite CF2 focuser new
      #5234554 - 05/22/12 06:25 PM

Can anyone please let me know what the dimensions are of the 4 bearings that the drawtube presses against in a Moonlite CF2 2-speed crayford refractor focuser ?

Mine is an older unit and the casing of one bearing has split so I've decided to renew all 4 now.

Thanks

Hi John,
Have you tried contacting the folks at Moonlite? They should be able to help.

Sorry, I don't want to take mine apart to measure them. I would almost bet Moonlite will replace them for you for nothing. I was looking at mine, and I see the draw tube has pitted some where the bearings ride and I can feel it when I move the coarse adjust knob. Hmm...

Roy

Thanks for the responses. I've e.mailed Moonlite and I'll see what they say. They seem to have a reputation for being helpful
