The guy who built the hut stuck that moon on the door..Im not keeping it..lol. Im going to name it for my husband..The " Clarkatory".

I really like this. I wouldn't be worried about some one stealing the telescope, but rather the observatory.

I think that car is a RR they are rebuilding the engine. it belongs to my brother in law. Soon we will have the fence and the deck privacy wall done..its been too hot to work.

This is an awesome idea! Can't wait to see the final pictures and it in full use!

Are you planning on some sort of bottom to close the gap where the wheels are? And do you intend on locking the hut somehow to the deck? Just curious...

Ok, here is the real meaning of the crescent moon symbol
on Outhouses

In Colonial days the half-moon symbolized the ladies room,

Also a Star or Sunburst pattern indicated Male use.

No need to lock the hut to the deck. Those cresent wooden sections you see leaning up against the hut go in. One for the bottom and one at the top , near the pier plate. Once the door is closed, its a tight fit.
