Three Lunar 100-sketches from a week ago. Hope you like them.
Crater Fracastorius looked in the EP dome-shaped, but in fact it is flat. Higher in the south and lower in the north, were his rim is buried by lava from Mare Nectaris.

Arago Alpha & Beta are two volcanic domes. Not very spectacular in my 8 cm scope. The many wrinkle ridges are subtil but beautiful to see. Some ridges are the rim of phantom crater Lamont.

Due to clouds and bad seeing the sketch of the fine Rima Hygenis is a rough draught. Crater Hygenis has no rim, it is a real "black hole" in the lunar surface.

Jef,
These three sketches are all very impressive. I especially like the Arago domes. I find these a little tricky to sketch as well as you have captured them. You are doing great to finish such top notch sketches in one hour. Impressive work.

Jef,
I am very impressed at how much your lunar sketches have improved over time. You are rendering the delicate lunar shadings and shadows very nicely. Thank you for sharing them with us all.

Jef, these are great and skilful sketches, not, I'm sure, going un-noticed in the avalanche of transit submissions. I am having a great time admiring them and your drawings really stood out as well!

Holy Smokes! These are great! I honestly think these are of a quality that could go into making a Lunar Atlas...they are really good and detailed...John
