Are they sharpened the whole field? As I saw in Fan Tao they have eyepieces Erfle.Which speaks about quality for a binocular.At least much better than a Kelner, without being a Nagler.
Do you know the year of manufacture?

My recently repaired Fisher Dietz 7x50's... A $10 flea market find I've really enjoyed. I made a bino mount for them from maple.

I have 6 sets of bins currently and none of them cost much money and yet they are all useful and offer some good image quality. The best of the collection is probably the traditional CBC 10x50's bought at an antiques & collectors fair for £15 and the Simmons Pro-Sport bought new for just £17 which are incredibly light and very clear & bright for such a small objective lens. However these bins are mostly used for birdwatching and aircraft spotting rather than DSO or planets.

My collection has become bigger with:
. 4 old Carl Zeiss binoculars;
. 1 refurbished Steiner Hunting 9 x 40
. last but not least the new Swarovski Swarovision 10 x 50 EL. The perfect binocular. I have tested this binocular with 5 other 10 x 50 binoculars (Leica, Fujinon, Carl Zeiss, Tento and Eden XP). When this testrapport is ready I will place a link on this forum. But one thing I can tell you. The Swarovski is by far the best binocular for use during daylight and for astronomy! And also the most expensive!

Here is a picture of my newest binocular, the Docter 8x58 B/CF roof prism. I've had it for a few weeks. The picture shows a size comparison with a Steiner Navigator 7x50 porro.

I've been using the Docter for astronomy at dusk and dawn on the ship I work on. The Steiner is one of the ship's binoculars. I'm working on a small review that I will post in a few weeks when I've had more time to compare it with my other binoculars at home. Allbinos have reviewed it here.

Wow some of you have so many!

I have these and it makes me feel I have too many.

Pentax pcf wp II 10x50
Canon 15x50is
Celestron 20x80
Oberwerk 25x100 deluxe center focus
Zeiss diascope is just there because I like it.

The count is up to about 150 binoculars. The room smells great!
