As you have heard from several telescope manufacturers the glass companies keep discontinuing products. The design has been tested and proven. However, it is based on a certain glass type that is now difficult to get. If we change the glass we have to tweak the design etc. The plan is still to release it this summer. Wish I could say more. I have a F6 frac now that I really want to try it on and from the posts I have seen it may work maybe not at 100% but it sounds to be not as finicky as the Chromacorr device which you couldn't really use many ep's with. Your Raycorr sounds like it will work with any EP, I'll keep waiting, thanks. If we don’t come out with the Raycorr soon, I fear there will be a public lynching . You are right in both statements: The Raycorr will not be near as tricky as the Chromacor to set up (no shims etc). It’s like inserting a diagonal. And no it won’t be 100% but will make a significant improvement (dramatic improvement when used with our Asteria R30 series scopes). We’re close… hang in there.
